Ingredients:

⦁ 1 kg of meat (boiled and drained)
⦁ 3 cups of rice
⦁ 3 cups of yoghurt
⦁ 3 tbsp. of butter, lemon juice and starch
⦁ 2 pieces of oven bread (tannour)
⦁ Some salt, black pepper and cumin
⦁ 4 ½ cups of hot meat broth (for the rice)

Method:
⦁ Mix yoghurt with starch, lemon juice, spices and 1 cup of meat broth.
⦁ Stir over heat then add the meat and keep to a boil for nearly 5 minutes.
⦁ Remove from heat and keep aside.
⦁ In another pot, melt butter then add the rice.
⦁ Add the meat broth and some salt.
⦁ Bring to boil over high heat until the water evaporates; then leave over low heat for 30 minutes.
⦁ On a serving plate, place the oven bread first, followed by the rice and then the meat.
⦁ Pour the yoghurt over or can be served aside.
⦁ For garnishing, add some fried pine nuts and parsley.
