Ingredients:
2 Kilo of meat with bones (medium-sized
pieces)
4 cups of Rice
3 sliced onions
5 potatoes, peeled only
2 tbsp garlic, chopped
3 cups of Yogurt
3 tbsp of oil
1 tbsp Turmeric
1/4 tbsp from each of black pepper, cinnamon
and cumin
saffron
salt to taste
whole pepper :Cardamon, cloves, cumin and
laurel leaves

Method:
1- Soak turmeric in 1/2 cup of water, then leave aside.
2- Heat the oil in a pot, then fry onions, meat and garlic. Stir over low heat until the meat broth evaporates.
3- Sprinkle with pepper. Add potatoes and yogurt. Leave over low heat until the meat is tender.
4- In another pot filled with water, put the whole pepper and salt. When boiling, put the rice and leave until almost cooked then drain.
5- Put the rice over the meat mixture, then put the fried onions and the soaked turmeric.
6- Leave over low heat for 30 minutes.
7- Transfer to the serving plate using a spoon. sliced onions fryied in 2 tbsp ghee
